“We were new to the whole process of buying a home. Laurie explained all of the little nuances of home buying very clearly and simply so that we could understand exactly what we were getting into. She made us feel very comfortable during the processes above. Laurie made us feel like we were her only client even though we know she had many during the time she worked with us. During one property in particular, the selling agent would be late to respond to Laurie regarding our questions, sometimes even not responding at all. It would have been a nightmare working with an agent like that one. Laurie was nothing but class and professionalism which was awesome. We knew she had our interests on her mind. I didn’t realize how many aspects of selling a home require superb negotiation skills... it’s not just the price of the home, it’s the contingencies, the escrow timeline, having solid back up offers, etc. She constantly was accurately gaging the buyers and getting every little incentive for us... even little things like how she negotiated the sale of our appliances on the last day of escrow and got us a great price. She was kind and patient as this was the first time we’ve ever sold a house and it was emotionally difficult for us. Laurie is a woman of integrity and honesty that we could trust completely. “Laurie was always prepared with information on all the houses we looked at. Pointed things out to us that would have been overlooked both good and bad when looking at homes. She was there at the time of inspections and helped be another set of eyes for us. Contracts and closing was a pain because of the sellers agent but Laurie didnt let anything slip by as she caught everything and made sure everything was done in a timely manner. Very knowledgeable, motivating, and professional. She helped in so many ways and we always felt she had our best interest at heart no matter what, very caring.
